Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

MeeTime (meetime.app) is a free visual meeting planner for international teams. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use MeeTime.

Client-Side Calculations

All timezone calculations, overlap scoring, and local time formatting happen entirely in your browser. When you select cities, drag the timeline slider, or view overlap scores, no data is sent to any server. The computation runs in JavaScript on your device using the date-fns-tz library and your browser’s built-in Intl APIs. This means your scheduling choices remain completely private.

No Accounts or Login

MeeTime does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the service. There is no registration process, no email collection, and no password storage. You can use every feature of MeeTime without identifying yourself in any way.

Local Storage

MeeTime stores a small number of user preferences in your browser’s localStorage. This includes your selected theme (light or dark mode) and any custom video call link you configure. This data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to MeeTime’s servers or any third party. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser’s local storage or site data for meetime.app.

Analytics

MeeTime uses two analytics services to understand general usage patterns and improve the service:

  • Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-BV7K1EZ9LK) – collects anonymized usage statistics such as page views, approximate geographic region, device type, and browser. Google Analytics may use cookies to distinguish unique visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Vercel Analytics – collects privacy-friendly, anonymized web analytics such as page views and performance metrics. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.

Neither analytics service has access to the cities you compare, the times you select, or any other content of your timezone calculations.

Advertising

MeeTime is a free, ad-supported service. We use Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-6231878507230592) to display advertisements. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to MeeTime or other websites. These cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on your browsing activity.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings or by visiting aboutads.info.

EEA, UK & Switzerland Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be presented with a consent banner before any advertising cookies are set. You may choose to accept or decline personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your browsing history. Your consent preference is stored locally and can be changed at any time.

No Personal Data Collection

MeeTime does not collect, store, process, or sell any personal data. We do not maintain user databases, do not store IP addresses on our servers, and do not build user profiles. The only data processing that occurs is through the third-party analytics and advertising services described above, which operate under their own privacy policies.

Third-Party Services

MeeTime integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Children’s Privacy

MeeTime is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since no personal data is collected from any user, this concern is inherently mitigated.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
