Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MeeTime website and service located at meetime.app (“Service”). By accessing or using MeeTime, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

MeeTime is a free, ad-supported visual meeting planner that helps users find suitable meeting times across multiple time zones. The Service provides timezone overlap calculations, local time visualization, and the ability to initiate video calls or generate calendar invites. All timezone calculations are performed client-side in your browser.

2. Free Use & No Warranty

MeeTime is provided free of charge on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

3. Accuracy of Timezone Calculations

While MeeTime strives to provide accurate timezone information using the IANA timezone database and DST-aware calculations, timezone data is inherently subject to change. Governments may alter timezone rules, daylight saving time schedules, or UTC offsets with limited notice.

Timezone calculations provided by MeeTime are approximate and should not be solely relied upon for critical, time-sensitive scheduling such as legal deadlines, financial transactions, medical appointments, or emergency coordination. You are responsible for independently verifying meeting times with all participants. MeeTime assumes no liability for scheduling errors arising from inaccurate or outdated timezone data.

4. Video Calls & Third-Party Services

MeeTime offers the ability to start video calls using Jitsi Meet, a third-party open-source video conferencing platform, or through a custom video call link that you provide. MeeTime does not host, operate, or control these video conferencing services.

When you initiate a video call through MeeTime, you are leaving the MeeTime Service and accessing a third-party platform governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy. MeeTime is not responsible for the availability, quality, security, or content of any third-party video conferencing service. Your use of Jitsi Meet is subject to the Jitsi Meet terms. Your use of any custom video call link is subject to the terms of that platform’s provider.

5. Advertising

MeeTime is an ad-supported service. By using MeeTime, you acknowledge and agree that advertisements will be displayed during your use of the Service. These ads are served by Google AdSense and may be personalized based on your browsing activity, subject to your consent preferences where required by law.

You agree not to use ad-blocking software or technology specifically to circumvent advertisements on MeeTime, though we understand that many users browse with ad blockers enabled and we do not restrict access based on this. The continued availability of MeeTime as a free service depends on advertising revenue.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MeeTime only for its intended purpose as a meeting planning tool. You must not:

  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its underlying infrastructure
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, or connected systems
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, except as permitted by applicable law
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or other proprietary rights indicators within the Service

Reasonable use of MeeTime’s public API endpoints for integration purposes is permitted, provided it does not degrade the Service for other users.

7. Intellectual Property

The MeeTime name, logo, visual design, and original content are the property of MeeTime and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use the MeeTime brand, name, or trademarks without prior written permission, except to refer to the Service in a factual, non-misleading manner.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MeeTime and its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise), even if MeeTime has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall MeeTime’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the amount you have paid to MeeTime in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, which in most cases will be zero as the Service is provided free of charge.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MeeTime and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MeeTime operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
